Simon qualified as a dentist in Liverpool in 1992 having gained an inter-collated anatomy degree in 1990. After qualifying, he worked in the Mersey regional maxillo-facial unit where he gained his fellowship in surgery and completed his specialist training in Oral Surgery in 1999. Simon is a registered specialist in Oral Surgery with the General Dental Council, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, a member of the ITI (International Team for Implantology) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. As well as providing general dental services Simon has a particular interest in Implantology, bone regeneration surgery, periodontal surgery, rehabilitation and cosmetics.

Away from the practice Simon enjoys physical training, coaching rugby (now he has hung up his boots) and spending time with his family.


Sally E Wilson.      BDS      GDC63010

Sally qualified as a dentist from University College London in 1987. Following a vocational year in Guildford and a 6 year period as an associate, Sally bought her own dental practice in Hampshire which she ran for 13 years. Moving to Wiltshire in 2007, Sally joined the Dutch Barton practice as an associate. Sally enjoys the mixed aspects of general practice and brings 25 years of continued experience to her patients. Sally is a member of the community choir "All in Harmony" and can usually be found on Saturdays in one of the local coffee shops. Outside the surgery Sally also enjoys gardening, travel and learning the Spanish guitar.


James MacDonald      BDS (Bristol) MFDSRCS, M.Sc. Implantology      GDC82117     

James qualified from Bristol University in 2003 and has worked in Hospital, Restorative Dentistry and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. After spending a year in practice in Western Australia, James has now settled in Bristol and has worked in private practice for the last four years. James is a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons and has completed his Masters degree in Implantology. Away from the surgery, James has two children and his interests include football and hockey. However, we have decided collectively not to hold his interest in football against him!

Mr Noushad Dentist at The Dutch Barton Practice in Bradford on Avon

Noushad Rahim      BDS, MDS(Endo), MFGDP (UK), MJDF RCS (Eng.)      GDC111437 Practice Limited to Endodontics.


Noushad graduated with a masters degree in Endodontics from Manipal University (India) in 1998. He worked for more than 7 years in the United Arab Emirates as an Endodontist and was also teaching root canal therapy to undergraduate dental students. He has lectured and conducted hands on courses in Endodontics in the UK and Internationally for General Dental Practitioners. He is a member of the British Endodontic Society and an opinion leader to various endodontic suppliers in the UK. The readers of “Private Dentistry” magazine had voted him into the Top 20 Elite Dentists in 2013.

Noushad continues to enjoy treating patients in a kind, gentle and reassuring manner having developed a growing referral base. His practice at Dutch Barton Dental Practice is limited to endodontics.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys travelling with his wife and lovely daughters. He is also a keen sports fan with Football and Formula 1 amongst his favourites.

Helen Bartlet      BDS, BchD     GDC 79284

Helen qualified as a dentist in 2001 from the University of Leeds; subsequently she worked as an associate in her native North Yorkshire before she and her husband decided to settle in Wiltshire.  Always keen to expand her skills, Helen completed a certificate in restorative dentistry in 2010.
Away from the surgery Helen is kept busy by her two young sons but finds time to enjoy running, dress making and learning French
