James has been at Dutch Barton Dental Practice since 2012, and became a partner and practice principal in 2016.
After qualifying from Bristol University in 2003, he gained valuable surgical experience working at Bristol Dental School in the Restorative Dentistry Department and Frenchay Hospital in the Oral and Maxillofacial Department.
James then spent a year working in general practice in Perth, Australia, before returning to the UK to focus on training in dental implants. James completed a four-year Master’s Degree in Dental Implantology at Bristol University, and has been placing dental implants since 2009.He currently offers patients all general dental treatments, dental implants and adult orthodontic treatment using discreet removable aligners. He is committed to providing patients with long-lasting dental treatment that is tailored to their individual needs. This specifically includes the use of digital dental technology to enhance outcomes and improve patient experience.Outside of work, James loves spending his free time playing with his two young children, including helping to coach his son’s local team. He is also a FA qualified football coach.

I studied for a postgraduate Master’s Degree in Dental Implantology to enable me to get the best education possible for my patients. It certainly provides the patients here at the Dutch Barton the best possible long-term solution for replacing their missing teeth.
