Dr Kate Clerkin graduated with a Bachelors in Dentistry from Trinity College Dublin in 2017. She worked as a general dentist in the Republic of Ireland prior to moving to the Dutch Barton Dental practice in 2019.
She is currently undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in restorative and prosthodontics with Tipton Training. Areas of interest for Dr. Clerkin include Restorative dentistry and aesthetics.
Prior to completing her dental studies, Dr Clerkin graduated with a Master’s in Pharmacy from Brighton University in 2010. She worked as a hospital pharmacist in London for three and half years. Inspired by a colleague from Brixton Prison and a yearning to do surgical based work she pursued a career in Dentistry. She continued to Locum as a pharmacist up to her graduation.
Between work and study, Dr Clerkin enjoys travelling and adventure. She is a keen tennis player, runner, skier and proud IRFU supporter. Her family is very important to her and she regularly visits them in Ireland.
Dr Clerkin is a registered general dentist in Ireland and the United Kingdom. She is committed to making patients’ feel relaxed, calm and keeps improving her education in dentistry. Thus improve her skill set and to deliver an excellent service for the patients’ in the DB practice.
